Tools for Effective Engagement & Field Work

Global Health Accelerator is the highly requested follow up to the Global Health Primer.  Global Health Accelerator is for clinical providers with prior international medical volunteer experience or who have taken the introductory Global Health Primer course

Global Health Accelerator is for clinical providers who want to positively impact the global community through responsible medical volunteer work. The course is designed to teach participants practical skills and introduce tools in order to effectively engage with international partners to improve the quality of care around the world. 

The course is for providers from all medical specialties, not only acute care. All clinical providers, RNs, APRNs, PAs, Techs, EMTs, MDs, Pharmacists and students are welcome.

CNE or CPE credits, refreshments and lunch included

The University of Colorado College of Nursing is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the  Colorado Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This educational offering for a maximum of 14.1 contact hours is provided by the University of Colorado College of Nursing, Office of Continuing Education.  Professionals are expected to claim credit commensurate with their level of participation in this activity.


The University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SSPPS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education (CPE). This activity is accredited for 14.1 application-based CPEs. To receive CPE, pharmacists must complete the online presentation evaluations and claim CPE on www.ipharmCE.UCDenver.edu. CPE will be uploaded to CPE Monitor within 48 hours of claiming credit.
